Joy of Motion Dance Center’s mission is to provide the highest quality dance education and performance experiences that reinforce the principle that Dance is for Everyone. In order to fulfill that mission, we serve an audience as diverse as the population of the DC region itself, reaching people of all ages, genders, ethnicities, backgrounds, abilities, and economic means.

We believe that dance builds positive skills and behaviors, and work to share these benefits by making dance education accessible through Project Motion Community Outreach. Our outreach program shares Joy of Motion Dance Center’s award-winning dance education experience with disadvantaged children, teens, and seniors throughout the DC area. Your support brings movement and dance to public school children at their schools and senior citizens at their residences free of charge.
